Our mission is to glorify and honor God by strengthening one another through the fellowship of believers, providing mutual encouragement to become continually more Christlike in our businesses and lives through:

• faithfully praying for the other group members (James 5:16),
• building relationships with other members (Romans 12:10),
• to regard each other more highly than ourselves (Philippians 2:3),
• encouraging each other during trials and tempations, especially those related to our businesses (1 Thessalonians 4:18),
• encouraging each other to be godly leaders at home, work, church, and in our respective communities,
• encouraging and assisting each other in our determination to glorify God by governing our businesses according to biblical standards (Ephesians 6:9, Colossians 4:1),
• providing accountability to each other (James 5:16),
• enriching the body of Christ financially by supporting each other's businesses (1 Timothy 6:2b).

Statement of Faith. We ask that all of our members affirm and attest to the following statement of faith:

Confession of Faith
I acknowledge that I have repented of my sins and accepted Jesus Christ as my personal Lord and Savior, and that I am a sinner saved by the grace of God alone through faith (Ephesians 2:8).

Jesus Christ
I believe that Jesus Christ was God incarnate, that he lived a perfect and sinless life, conducting public ministry and performing miracles, that he was crucified on the cross, died, was laid in a tomb, and three days later was resurrected back to life.  He ascended into Heaven, where he is at the right hand of God and makes continuous intercession on behalf of the saints (Romans 8:34).

Salvation
I believe that the only way a person can be saved from their sins is through faith alone by placing their trust in Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior.**

The Holy Spirit
I believe that the Holy Spirit is active within the lives of believers today (1 Corinthians 6:19, Ephesians 1:13, Titus 3:5).

Members of BLSC are committed to:

• earnestly seeking and growing in their relationships with Jesus Christ,
• representing Jesus Christ to others through their business,
• building business relationships and delighting in Christian fellowship with other members,
• encouraging others to patronize BLSC members' businesses,
• introducing other eligible candidates to BLSC by inviting them to a meeting,
• supporting the leadership,
• faithfully attending BLSC meetings,
• maintaining the confidentiality of all information shared within the BLSC meeting.
